The Grassland and Muck Event takes place on 190acres of Stoneleigh Park.
Preparation started in August 2007 with the help and advice from Yara agronomist Mark Tucker and agrochemicals supplied by Agrovista will aim to provide event exhibitors with an ideal silage sward for demonstrating their machines.

25th October Spraying of volunteers The Event site was established with minimum tillage and therefore experienced some problems with volunteers from the previous wheat and spring barley cropping. Click here for more details. |

25th September 2007 GPS mapping of Grassland and Muck Event fields Click to view GPS print outs It was necessary to GPS map the Grassland and Muck event site in order to accurately record the available demonstration space for the event. John Deere kindly leant the Society a Gator with a GPS system fitted to enable the mapping to take place. |

19th September Slug pelleting Due to high slug activity is was necessary to slug pellet the Grassland and Muck event site. Agrovista supplied the Society with pellets which were applied with a quad bike mounted spreader. |
